API Technologies will be showcasing a sampling of their tactical power and RF power amplifier products at the Modern Day Marine exhibition in booth #1515. Modern Day Marine is the premier military equipment, systems, services, and technology show for the Marine Corp. It will take place at the Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Virginia from 27-29 September, 2016.
At the event API Technologies will showcase their power distribution and conversion solutions, including man-portable, weatherproof, ruggedized, and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) units. They will be on display to highlight the Company's expertise in converting AC voltage power to DC voltage power from a variety of input power sources. Their products provide numerous benefits due to their small footprint, including the ability to be easily stowed when not deployed in the field, and reduced fuel consumption and vehicle wear and tear. The power products are designed to support the requirements of C4ISR systems, critical electronic warfare (EW) applications, and weapons equipment.
API Technologies will also display a 200 watt dual channel rack mount power amplifier subsystem for shipboard and military communication systems. This amplifier assembly will demonstrate the company's core competencies in RF filter/amplifier integration and GaN technology. The unit will be housed in an iridite coated aluminum chassis, making it ideal for demanding military applications. The rugged and military power systems from API support the Marine Corp's mission of energy efficiency, portability, and reduced cost of overall system ownership.
All the units on display at the exhibition are all built to perform in extreme temperature or weather conditions. Their Power and RF/Microwave systems and subsystems are ideal for a variety of defense applications such as:
- EW (Electronic Warfare)
- Vehicle Electronics
- Homeland Security & Critical Infrastructures
- Manned Ground Vehicles
- Military Communications
- C4ISR
- Radar
