Tecore Networks has announced that it will be exhibiting at the Border Security Expo taking place in San Antonio, Texas from April 11-12, 2017 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. Tecore Executives will be discussing the recent live border scenario exercises which utilized Tecore’s iCore suite of products including its LYNX platform.
Tecore’s iCore suites of products have been leveraged from its rich commercial background and extensive government experience. Designed for seamless integration with existing technologies and communications infrastructure, Tecore’s tactical cellular and wireless solutions have successfully integrated with Land Mobile Radio (LMR), P25 Radios, Unattended Ground Sensors, Mobile Video Surveillance Systems (MVSS) and Remote Video Surveillance Systems (RVSS) most recently during an exercise conducted last month.
The demonstration of the private 4G LTE network allowed operators connected to the network, as well as the situation room, real-time access to cellular voice and data features, alerts, live video, sensory data, and Wi-Fi. The live scenario event showcased the ability of Border Patrol agents on the ground to be able to make real-time decisions. Despite location or lack of commercial coverage in operational areas, agents were able to share and retain real-time data over a secure, reliable cellular network.
A critical piece of the Virtual Technology Wall is a 4G LTE Network which also supports the supplementary technology elements required for an overall solution to secure borders. Tecore’s 25 years of experience has allowed them to deliver full commercial-grade cellular capabilities in an efficient design for DHS and they look forward to being able to present their capabilities and continue to integrate with other partners at this week’s Border Security Expo.
