UK based Sylatech has received a multi-million pound contract to supply a major European defence contractor with passive microwave antenna components and assemblies. The contract will be valid for the next 10 years.
Sylatech has been an old strategic supplier to the Yorkshire based customer and have proudly supported their antenna and microwave assembly requirements for the past 25 years. It is currently enjoying rapid growth with several of their International Prime customers and now is on track to achieve double-digit growth this year. To support this anticipated growth they are currently recruiting additional skilled engineering and production staff to work at their manufacturing facility in Kirkbymoorside.
The company is a leading supplier of critical components to a number of major defence programmes, and has contracted directly with national defence bodies in the UK, US and Europe. Over the years, it has formed partnerships with industry partners like Airbus, BAE, SAAB, Thales, and Cobham. Recently it also secured a £1 million defense contract in the Netherlands, stretch over 18 months and expects to secure other contracts worth £1.5 million next week.
