Pasternack Enterprises, Inc. introduces their new lines of lowpass filters and highpass filters. The new RF filters from Pasternack are passive components that allow frequency signals to pass within a certain range and attenuate (reject) frequencies outside that given range, in this case, up to 3 GHz. Both the new lowpass and highpass filters are constructed using the Combline design, which provides outstanding VSWR and long term performance.
Pasternack Enterprises' lowpass filters (LPF) are designed with SMA female connectors and are ideal for use in many common frequency bands including GSM and WIMAX. The new lowpass filters have operating frequency passbands ranging from DC to 30 MHz through DC to 3 GHz depending on the model. Lowpass filters have maximum input power rated from 5 Watts to 10 Watts and have a maximum insertion loss of less than 1 dB.
The new highpass filter product lines are also designed with SMA female connectors. Operating frequencies for these highpass filters have passbands ranging from 30 MHz to 300 MHz through 1 GHz to 2.5 GHz depending on the model. Pasternack's highpass filters have maximum input power rated to 5 Watts and have insertion loss of less than 1 dB.
"These new lines of lowpass and highpass RF filters are a great addition to our passive component product line, as they address increasing customer demands for broad frequency range components," says Gerry Camacho, VP of Technical Services at Pasternack Enterprises, Inc. "Our newly introduced lines of highpass and lowpass filters are a great addition to our growing inventory of RF and microwave components."
