Comtech PST, a subsidiary of Comtech Telecommunications’ has received contracts worth $4.2 million for solid-state, high-power RF amplifiers from a leading provider of aviation electronics and communication systems.
These amplifiers will be utilized in satellite communications systems which provide commercial mobile airborne-to-satellite-to-ground communication service. The orders supplement a significant installed base of Comtech high-power amplifiers previously delivered to this customer. According to Fred Kornberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications, said, the orders are ongoing evidence of the demand for Comtech's commercial aircraft amplifier products.
Based out of New York, Comtech PST is a leading independent supplier of broadband, high-power, high performance RF microwave amplifiers and control components for use in a broad spectrum of applications including defense, radar, medical, satellite communications systems and instrumentation.
