Anokiwave has announced its presence at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 in Barcelona, Spain. Anokiwave's 5G ICs will power its customer’s 5G arrays at all three mm-Wave 5G bands and the Anokiwave Active Antenna Innovator Kits, driven by Anokiwave 5G ICs, will be featured at several of their partner booths. The company will also make a significant product announcement about its next generation of 5G ICs during the conference. Anokiwave senior staff will be available for private meetings with customers.
At MWC2019, Anokiwave will participate in the industry’s first O-RAN mmWave White-box hardware proof-of-concept demonstration of an open radio access network 5G radio unit (RU), working with other O-RAN alliance members. This demonstration will take place in the Xilinx booth in Hall 6, Stand 6M30.
Anokiwave’s partner and turn-key solution provider, GLOBALFOUNDRIES, will host a NEXTech Lab Theater Session entitled “Intelligent Connectivity for a Data-Driven Future” where the growth and impact of intelligent connectivity to the semiconductor value chain will be discussed. Alastair Upton, Anokiwave Sr. VP of Business Development will participate in this panel session to be held Monday, February 25, 2019, at 1:30 pm in Hall 8.
Anokiwave will also introduce its next generation of 5G ICs during MWC2019. As part of its strategy to enable mmWave 5G systems by commercializing planar active antennas with silicon core ICs, Anokiwave is planning to extend the 5G portfolio by offering full RF signal chain IC families at each mmW band. The system architecture behind the family will lead them into multiple architectures and all use cases from infrastructure to consumer equipment.
