Atlantic Microwave will be showcasing their latest RF simulation and testing solutions at Satellite 2019. Their range of satellite simulators enable RF testing of satellite communications systems without the need to go live on a satellite. This makes it possible to run extensive and prolonged tests without impacting live services.
Atlantic Microwave will be showcasing its KA Band Satellite Simulator for RF testing on mobile satellite communications systems. It is a cable-less and totally portable solution featuring dual polarity for both uplink and downlink bands. Also on display will be a Multi-path Satellite Simulator System which can simultaneously test two satellite terminals. It can work either as a fixed installation or portable system and features both ethernet and local controls, giving users the flexibility to control the system remotely or locally.
Test Loop Translators from Atlantic Microwave simulate the satellite transponder frequency conversion for system alignment and continuous quality monitoring. They feature Synthesised Variable Frequency Local Oscillators (LOs) to provide the user with the most versatile and comprehensive operating configurations for translation of uplink (Tx) frequencies to either downlink (Rx) frequencies or to L-Band, and for L- Band to downlink (Rx). Atlantic Microwave will showcase its battery-powered Portable Test Loop Translators as well as its Q Band Test Loop Translators.
Atlantic Microwave, which was recently acquired by ETL Systems, will be exhibiting on booth 2327 at Satellite 2019 from 6th – 9th May 2019. The company will also be showcasing its range of line amplifiers and active, passive and control components.
