SENER Showcases its Ka and Ku-band SATCOM Products at Satellite 2019

The engineering and technology group SENER is attending the International Space Exhibition, Satellite 2019, which started on Monday, May 6 in Washington (USA) and is one of the most important events in the satellite telecommunications industry. 

At this year's event, SENER is showcasing products, equipment and systems for satellite communications, with a comprehensive portfolio of solutions for space missions including steerable antennas, fixed antennas, RF passive equipment, RF active equipment and electromechanical equipment.

Some of the products on display at Satellite 2019 include SENER's DTA rotary actuator product range, which now includes the DTA-4-200, DTA-4-300 (38 mm diameter) and DTA-6-200 (60 mm diameter) actuators. Also on display is the range of non-explosive release devices called NEReA (Non-Explosive Release Actuator), developed entirely by SENER using proprietary technology and currently undergoing validation. 

In the field of active RF, SENER’s Ka and Ku-band reception equipment, based on distributed, modular Low Noise Amplifiers (LNA), Downconverters (DoCon) and Receivers (RCV) are on display. These products lead to considerable savings in terms of mass, as well as offering optimum versatility for satellite manufacturers and state-of-the-art features. 

At Satellite 2019, SENER is also giving information on all types of passive radio-frequency systems and satellite antennas, both telemetry, and telecom, with global or restricted coverage, feeders for on-board reflectors or even reflector antennas with integrated pointing systems.
