Mega Industries, a leading manufacturer of microwave transmission equipment has introduced a new 16-Way Gysel Combiner at 915 MHz. The company produces custom designed, coaxial power combiners for a variety of applications. The three main types of power combiners offered by the company are Impedance, Hybrid and Gysel combiners. In the Gysel design, an additional network structure provides isolation in the same manner as the hybrid network combiner, but in a very compact system.
The new Gysel Combiner system accepts 2kW per 7/16 DIN input, delivering up to 32kW at the 4-1/16 coax output. Any input power imbalances, whether amplitude or phase, are absorbed in the compact, internal load network that is water cooled.
The company will attend the 2019 North American Particle Accelerator Conference (NAPAC) in Lansing, Michigan, where the latest combiner (16-Way, 915 MHz) will be featured among other components in Mega’s product line. The event will be held from September 1-6.
