Automotive Radar Simulation with WaveFarer
Simulation technology has advanced to meet increasingly stringent design requirements for 24 GHz and 77 GHz automotive radar sensors. Visit Remcom’s booth to learn about the integrated approach from sensor design to drive test scenarios! Click here to know more.
Electrostatic Discharge Testing in XFdtd
Remcom will be previewing a number of new ESD simulation features coming soon in XFdtd. Engineers will be able to utilize ESD simulator waveforms, define the dielectric strength of materials, and easily locate weaknesses in their ESD design. These new features will provide ESD engineers with a valuable tool which can be utilized to optimize ESD protection during the design phase, thus reducing ESD failures during manufacturing and warranty claims after purchase. Stop by for a demo on the upcoming features!

WaveFarer: Computing Raw Radar Returns with EM Simulation
Thursday, October 3rd | Workshop WTh-02
WaveFarer is a high-fidelity radar simulator for drive scenario modeling at frequencies up to and beyond 79 GHz. Near-field propagation and scattering methods compute raw radar returns from target objects while considering multi-path interactions from ground reflections and other structures. It enables OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to virtually test and refine sensors earlier in the design process, reducing the overhead required to build prototypes and improving installed performance. This talk will discuss how a scene is defined, the scattering phenomena that are accounted for, and the types of results available through the WaveFarer simulation tool.
