The MT13-JT from Dutch Microwave Absorber Solutions (DMAS) is an Expanded Polystyrene Absorber that operates from 2.1 to 110 GHz. It is based on a unique Javelin-tipped design that matches the performance of traditional foam absorbers. This absorber delivers stable performance, making it suitable for use in antenna ranges and wireless over-the-air (OTA) test chambers. It is made from a closed-carbon cell material that is highly resilient to changes in ambient humidity and temperature and ensures no leakage of carbon particles.
This microwave absorber can handle an incident power density (CW) of 1121 W/m2. It offers rigidity and excellent tensile strength to ensure no drooping absorber tips. This RoHS-compliant absorber is equipped with screws and mounting strips to enable easy installation. It supports a modular design using baseplate and pyramids, thereby enabling easy replacement of damaged pyramids. This absorber measures 1200 x 600 x 135 mm.
