The AirgainConnect® Fleet™ from Airgain is an Integrated Sub-6 GHz Vehicle-Mount Access Point for 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and GNSS connectivity. It supports cellular 5G-NR/4G-LTE connectivity (FR1, Cat 19 DL / Cat 18 UL), dual-band Wi-Fi 6 connectivity (2.4 GHz and 5 – 6 GHz) and GNSS connectivity (L1 band). This integrated solution supports 4x4 downlink and 2x2 uplink MIMO in the cellular chain (supports eSIM) and 2x2 MU-MIMO in the Wi-Fi chain. For the GNSS chain, it supports GPS, GLONASS, Beidou and Galileo constellations and has an integrated low-noise amplifier (LNA) and passive antenna. It also includes a 1 GbE RJ45 LAN connection (4-port switch available as an accessory). This access point requires a DC supply from 7 to 36 V with software configurable minimum operating voltage to prevent dead vehicle battery (capable of operating at 5V during transient events).
The AirgainConnect® Fleet™ employs ignition sense for automatic power-up and adjustable power-down timer. It has an omnidirectional radiation pattern that provides uniform coverage and avoids cellular dead zones with automatic carrier switching. This access point can be easily configured locally or remotely over Airgain’s cloud service. It is available in a rugged enclosure that measures 218.1 x 210.6 x 50.8 mm with IP67 or IP69K ingress protection. The access point conforms to ISO MIL-STD-810G, SAE J1455 and EN61373 standards for shock and vibration and IEC 60068-2-52 and SAE J2334 salt spray standards for corrosion. It includes pre-attached mounting foam for installation on uneven surfaces.
