The A9001978 from Kyocera AVX is a Chip Antenna for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and UWB applications. It operates in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and from 6000 to 8500 MHz for UWB applications. This linearly polarized antenna provides a peak gain of 5.7 dBi with an average efficiency of up to 80%. It can handle a CW input power of 0.5 W and has a VSWR of less than 7:1. This antenna has been AEC-Q200 tested to qualify for automotive applications. It is available in a package that measures 1.00 x 0.55 x 0.40 mm and can be surface-mounted on PCBs. The antenna is ideal for Telematics (TCU), wBMS (Wireless Battery Management System), smart Entry/key FOB, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) and other automotive applications.
