The A6473 from Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions (CAES) is a Biconical Antenna that operates from 18 to 40 GHz. This slant 45° polarized antenna provides a gain of 3 dBiL and has a VSWR of less than 3.5:1. It has an omni-directional radiation pattern and an elevation beamwidth from 18° to 40°. The antenna can handle an input power (CW) of up to 50 W. It is available with optional vertically linear or circular polarization in a single package. It is available in a rugged housing that measures 4.0 x 2.5 inches with 2.9 mm (female) connectors with rugged aluminum and composite construction and includes an integral protective radome.
