The SBA2456DB-LP from Alaris is a Steerable Beam Antenna that operates from 2.4 – 2.5 GHz and 5 – 6 GHz. This vertically polarized antenna provides a gain of 11 dBi and has a VSWR of less than 2.50:1. It supports sharp and omni-beam modes, providing up to 24 beams in the sharp-beam mode (minimum 20° beamwidth) and 360° horizontal coverage in the omni-beam mode. The antenna beam can be steered to achieve optimal gain in the desired direction and to avoid interference from unwanted directions. It has a fast beam-switching time of less than 1 μs, making the antenna suitable for UAV/drone detection and countermeasures. This antenna requires a DC supply from 19 to 32 V and consumes less than 200 mA of current. It is available in a housing that measures 320 (Dia.) x 155 (H) mm with SMA-female connectors.
