The SKF5G62311DM from Pulse is a Sub-6 GHz Antenna for 5G-NR, WiFi-6E, and GNSS applications. This vertical/linearly polarized antenna operates from 617 to 7125 MHz, supports L1 and L2 GNSS bands, and has an omnidirectional radiation pattern. For 5G-NR operation, the antenna has a VSWR of less than 3:1, average efficiency of up to 68%, and provides port-port isolation of more than 10 dB. For Wi-Fi 6E operation, it has a VSWR of less than 2.5:1, has an average efficiency of 76%, and provides port-to-port isolation of up to 30 dB. For GNSS operation, it includes a low noise amplifier with a gain of 38 dB, a noise figure of less than 2.4 dB, and provides an out-of-band rejection of more than 60 dB. The LNA requires a DC supply from 3.3 to 5 V and consumes less than 11 mA of current.
The SKF5G62311DM supports 2x2 MIMO for cellular 5G-FR1 (4G compatible) and 3x3 MIMO for Wi-Fi, DSRC, and V2X (WiFi-6E compatible). It can be easily mounted on a light and heavy vehicle roofs, directly on the metal plate. This antenna is available in an IP67-rated shark fin enclosure that measures 178.3 x 52.5 x 62.0 mm with SMA-male and RP-SMA (male) connectors and is ideal for IoT, navigation, and tracking applications.
