The QSP-RC-0.5-22-S-SG is a right hand circularly polarised spiral antenna that operates from 0.5 GHz to 22 GHz. It can handle up to 2 W of input power, has a gain from -3 to 2 dBiL with a VSWR of less than 1.5:1. It has an axial ratio of less than 2 dB with a squint of less than 10 degrees. The antenna has a diameter of 152 mm and is 120 mm long. It is ideally suited for airborne and ground based applications and Spectrum Management Direction Finding 360 antenna arrays. Steatite also provides custom designed spiral antennas and if required, integrate lensed radomes to improve performance.
