The MAX Series from RangeAnt are IoT Antennas that operate from 700 to 3000 MHz. They have an omnidirectional radiation pattern and provide a peak gain of 3 dBi. The antennas have a free-space efficiency from 80 and 90% with a VSWR of less than 2:1 across the bands. The high efficiency of the antennas allows them to deliver greater range for the available transmitter power, and improved receiver performance. Alternatively, lower transmitter power can be used for a given link range when reducing energy consumption is a priority, such as in IoT applications. They are suitable for use with Bluetooth, Zigbee, Sub-GHz, LPWAN (LoRa, Sigfox, Weightless), Wi-Fi, cellular (2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, and NB-IoT) wireless protocols, and GPS/GNSS reception.
The MAX Series antennas are based on a unique and patent-pending technology, providing market-leading performance. They enable wireless module manufacturers and OEMs to build products for global markets while minimizing their design effort and inventory using only one type of antenna. These antennas have a unique design which enables them to operate independently of a separate ground plane to achieve full performance. This can reduce both the size and number of other components in the system, thus simplifying the system design of the final product. These antennas are available in packages that measure 150 x 37 mm with SMA-male/IPX connectors.
