The NCS.5820 from Taoglas is an Embedded NB-IoT PCB Antenna that operates from 824-894 MHz (Band 5), 880-960 MHz (Band 8), and 791-862 MHz (Band 20). This antenna is designed to provide excellent efficiency for global NB-IoT coverage and allows device manufacturers to enjoy mobilization between all the bands so that the device can be used in more than one region with multiple carriers. It also allows device designers to take advantage of the benefits of NB-IoT technology such as, reduced power consumption, increased battery life, increased spectrum efficiency, and an extended coverage in rural and urban areas.
The NCS.5820 provides a gain of less than 0.1 dBi with an efficiency of up to 50%. It can handle an input power of up to 5 W. This RoHS-compliant PCB antenna is available in an FR4-based surface-mount package that measures 20.00 x 11.00 x 1.60 mm.
