The Reach PCS.66.A from Taoglas is an LTE/Cellular/5G SMD antenna that operates from 600 to 6000 MHz covering all LTE cellular bands and all sub-6 GHz bands for 5G deployments. It also covers 3G and 2G bands to allow for fall-back when LTE is not available. This omnidirectional antenna delivers a gain of up to 5.7 dBi with an efficiency as high as 80% and can handle an input power of up to 5 watts.
Measuring just 32 x 25 x 1.6 mm, the PCS.66.A is available as tape and reel and can be mounted on the short edge of the PCB via ‘pick & place’. It is suitable for lower cost LTE applications, especially IoT projects and can be tuned for the device environment using a matching circuit, or other techniques on the main PCB itself.
