The MCP37D31-200 from Microchip is a 16-bit pipelined A/D converter with a sampling rate of up to 200 Msps. It has a Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) of over 74 dB and a Spurious Free Dynamic Range (SFDR) of above 90 dB. The ADC consumes only 490 mW of power at 200 Msps including LVDS digital I/O. The convertor consumes 80 mW of power during Standby and 33 mW during Shutdown. It has an integrated digital down-converter with onboard NCO, decimation filters for improved SNR, individual phase, offset and gain adjustment and a fractional delay recovery for time-delay corrections in multi-channel modes. The data is provided through the serial DDR LVDS or parallel CMOS interface and configured via Serial Peripheral Interface. It is available in TFBGA-121 and VTLA-124 packages and is ideal for cellular base stations, radar, ultrasound and sonar imaging applications. The device operates over the commercial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
