The DG900 Pro Series from Rigol are Function/Arbitrary Waveform Generators that have a sample rate of up to 1.25 GSa/s, a waveform length of up to 32 Mpts/CH and have a vertical resolution of 16 bits. These dual-channel generators combine multiple functions including a function generator, arbitrary waveform generator, noise generator, pulse generator, harmonic generator, analog/digital modulator, and frequency counter. They support sequence mode which allows a user to load multiple test cases to be performed sequentially and automatically (up to 64 steps and 256 repetition counts). The integrated harmonic generator (max. 20th order) provides a more accurate test method for devices like high-order filters and amplifiers. These waveform generators provide multiple modulation functions (AM, FM, PM, ASK, FSK, PSK, PWM, and SUM).
The DG900 Pro Series waveform generators include a 7” touchscreen with dual-display capability that allows concurrent configuration of dual-channel waveforms. They require a DC supply of 15 V (via USB), draw 3 A of current, and consume less than 45 W of power. These generators include USB Type-C and LAN (LXI Core 2011 device) interfaces. They are available in enclosures that measure 266 x 165 x 80 mm and weigh less than 2.78 Kg. With a compact size, these portable generators are suitable for use on a workbench or in the field and include rear-panel mount screw holes (VESA 100x100).
