The P25812B from Tabor Electronics is an Arbitrary Waveform Generator that can transmit, receive and perform digital signal processing. It has 12 channels with a maximum sample rate of 2.5 GS/s and 16-bit resolution. This signal generator has a phase noise of up to -134 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset and an SFDR of better than -85 dBc. It has an integrated NCO for digital up-converting to microwave frequencies and an optional 8 GHz bandwidth, 5.4 GS/s 12-bit digitizers for the feedback control system, and conditional waveform generation. The waveform generator supports real-time data streaming directly to the FPGA for continuous and infinite waveform generation.
The P25812B has innovative task-oriented sequence programming for maximum flexibility to generate any scenario and a user-customizable DSP block for real-time processing and application-specific functionality. It integrates both DAC and ADC in one system controlled by a single FPGA for optimal synchronization and minimum latency. This signal generator has a 9” touch display and on-board PC making it capable of operating as a standalone system offering various configuration options, innovative task-oriented programming, and user-programmable FPGA. It uses a PCI Express Gen 3 4-lane interface with up to 32Gb/s of data transfer speed.
The P25812B is available in a benchtop unit that measures 440 x 175 x 330 mm and has USB, thunderbolt, LAN SFP+, and GPIB interfaces. It is ideal for high-end aerospace and defense, telecommunications, automotive, medical and physics applications. This signal generator requires an AC supply of 100-264 V and consumes 550 W.
