The NEXUS-M from Quintech is a Solid-State Mesh Attenuator Matrix that operates from 400 to 6000 MHz. It is available in configurations with up to 32 ports; any port can connect to any other port. Each connection has an independently controlled variable attenuator that allows power levels to be controlled between nodes. This bi-directional matrix provides variable attenuation from 0 to 60 dB in 0.5 dB steps with an ON/OFF isolation of 70 dB.
With millisecond switching speeds, software and firmware regression tests can be performed over many network configurations in a much shorter time compared to the manual configuration of a patch panel. It is suitable for automating UHF, LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, CAT-M, NB-IoT, and GPS component and software application tests.
The NEXUS-M can be easily configured to string and mesh constellation networks for beam-hopping latency measurements and network resiliency when adding or dropping nodes in software-defined networks. It utilizes the Q-LAAMP management software which enables resource and time allocation for lab operation efficiency. This attenuator matrix has a 2.2” LCD panel and rotary switch joystick for local control and Ethernet and TCP/IP interfaces for remote control. It is available in an enclosure with N-type (female) and SMA-female connectors and requires an AC supply.
