The VMA-64X4-8110 from Vaunix is a 64x4 Digital Matrix Attenuator that operates from 600 to 7250 MHz. It has 64 input and 4 output bidirectional channels that provide an attenuation of 120 dB in 0.1 dB steps on all 64 possible path combinations. This non-blocking attenuator matrix has an insertion loss of 20 to 25 dB and a switching speed of 2 μs. It can handle an input level of up to 33 dBm with a VSWR of 1.50:1.
The VMA-64X4-8110 is easily programmable for fixed attenuation, swept attenuation ramps, and fading profiles. It provides reliable and repeatable solid-state digital attenuation and supports single-shot or repeating programmable attenuation ramps. This attenuator matrix can be controlled via USB and Ethernet interfaces and is USB powered requiring 5 V DC supply. It is available in a 3RU benchtop module that measures 431.8 x 330.2 x 132.8 mm and has SMA female connectors. This attenuator matrix is ideal for WiFi 6E, Wi-Fi, LTE, 5G, 6G, MIMO, multipoint radio fading simulators, semiconductor test and qualification labs, and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) applications.
