ES006 Image

The ES006 from Teledyne Defense & Space is an X-Band Fast Tune Notch Filter that is designed to protect ESM (electronic support measures) receivers from high duty cycle frequency agile interference occurring in onboard or combat radar systems. It has a passband from 6 to 13 GHz and an insertion loss of less than 2.5 dB. The filter provides two independently controlled notches with a tuning range from 8.5 to 11.5 GHz with a resolution of up to 16 MHz and a bandwidth of up to 1 GHz. It can handle an input power of up to 10 dBm with a switching speed of 250 ns and has a passband VSWR of less than 1.8:1. The filter requires a DC supply from -12 to +15V and consumes a current of up to 225 mA. It can track the emitter’s transmissions at its agility rate such that the ESM sensor’s Probability of Intercept (POI) is maintained at an acceptable level. This filter is available in a module that measures 206 x 76 x 30 mm and is ideal for ESM receiver protection, and direction finding (DF) system protection applications.
