The AW3940-E-C from Alpha Wireless is a 48-Port Multiband Tri-Sector Antenna that operates from 698 to 960 MHz (low band) and 1710 to 2690 MHz (mid band). It has three sector canisters with sector orientation at 0°, 120° and 240° in the azimuth plane and an equal spacing of 120° between each sector. This ±45° slant linear polarized antenna has 8 ports per sector for both frequency bands, provides a gain of up to 17.8 dBi (mid band) and has a VSWR of less than 1.5. It can handle an input power of up to 300 W per port, provides an isolation of more than 25 dB and has a passive intermodulation of -150 dBc. It provides an elevation downtilt of T6° in the low band and a remote electrical tilt (RET) from T2° - T12° for the mid-band.
The AW3940-E-C has been designed to accommodate three externally mounted Active Antenna Units (AAU's). It allows power and fiber cables to be routed through the top mount plate through the internal structure and down to the cabinet at the base. This antenna is available in a flange mount compact canister that measures 406 (Dia.) x 4250 (H) mm with MLOC connectors and is ideal for pole-top, rooftop, and street work applications.
