The ACCVT-LKa-Ex-V1 from Acorde is a Ka-Band Block-Up Converter that converts an input frequency (IF) from 950 – 2050 MHz to an output frequency from 27.5 – 31.0 GHz (RF). It provides more than 30 dB of gain and has a gain adjustment range of 20 dB in 0.5 dB steps. This BUC has a noise figure of less than 20 dB, a phase noise of -95 dBc/Hz (@100 kHz offset), and spurious levels of -60 dBc. It requires a DC supply of 12 V and consumes 1 A of current. The BUC utilizes the latest technology to achieve superior power efficiency, phase noise, gain stability, and linear power.

The ACCVT-LKa-Ex-V1 has undergone testing procedures according to MIL-STD-188-164C and is a high-reliability solution designed for harsh environmental conditions. It is available in a module that measures 227 x 120 x 30 mm with SMA-female and K-type (female) connectors and is ideal for professional and military satellite communication systems (ground, SOTP, SOTM, maritime, and others) applications.
