The SSPBg-210X Series from Advantech Wireless are X-Band GaN SSPA BUCs that up-convert an input frequency from 950 - 1450 MHz to an output frequency from 7.9 - 8.4 GHz with an LO frequency of 6.95 GHz. They deliver a rated output power of 50 W and a linear output power of more than 25 W with a gain of 68 dB. These BUCs are based on Advantech Wireless' industry-proven reliable solid-state high-power amplifiers and provide exceptional linearity and operating efficiency. They use high efficiency power supply and conservative thermal design for trouble-free operation.
These BUCs have an integrated power supply, phase-locked oscillator, mixer, filter and cooling mechanism. The phase-locked local oscillator locks directly to an external 10 MHz reference. They have a phase noise of -110 dBc/Hz @ 1 MHz and a spurious of -55 dBc. These BUCs require a DC supply voltage of 40 - 75 V and consume less than 240 W of power. They are available in a very compact design that measures 206.7 x 129.5 x 167.6 mm with an N-type (F) connector at the input and a CPR 112 (Grooved) waveguide interface at the output. The BUCs include serial RS232/RS485 interfaces.
The SSPBg-210X Series is designed to meet the MIL-STD-188-164A standard and is constructed in a compact, weatherproof, cooling enclosure for outdoor operation. They are suitable for X-Band satellite up-link applications and provide the utmost convenience and efficiency. The BUCs are mounted near the hub of an antenna.
