8-16 W Ka-BAND BUC Image

The BUC series from Alga are Ka-Band Block Up Converters that can be used for commercial and military applications. These BUCs have two LO’s that can upconvert an input frequency from 1000 - 1500 MHz to an output frequency from 29.5 - 30 GHz in the commercial band and an input frequency from 1000 - 2000 MHz to an output frequency from 30 - 31 GHz in the military band. These BUCs deliver an output power from 8 to 16 W with a gain of more than 70 dB. They are available in a module with an N or F-type female connector at the input and a WR28G waveguide interface at the output. This BUC series is an ideal solution for both mobile and fixed Satellite Communication terminals.
