The AFKU20 from Amkom Design Group is a Ku-band Block up Converter that upconverts an input frequency from 950 – 1700 MHz to an output frequency from 13.75 – 14.50 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 20 W with a gain of 68 dB and has a phase noise of -95 dBc/Hz @ 100 KHz. This fan-less BUC utilizes GaAs + GaN technology and features a built-in HPA overdrive, a receive band reject filter, DC input noise suppression filter, and anti-vibration technology. It also includes a triple-protection waveguide output isolator. This weather-proof BUC is available in a package that measures 6.54 x 4.72 x 3.10 inches with N-type/F-type IF connector and WR75 grooved output interface. It is constructed with advanced mechanical precision engineering and uses tough aerospace grade aluminium based metal with the most efficient heat disposal properties.
Optional features include stealth linear operation mode, internal high stability, IF/MS connector, and monitor & control interfaces.
