The ASKU20 from Amkom is a Ku-Band Block Up-Converter (BUC) with an RF Frequency of 14 to 14.5 GHz (standard) or 13.75 to 14.5 GHz (extended). It delivers an output power of 43 dBm (20 W) and a linear power of 42 dBm (16 W). This feed-horn & boom-arm mountable BUC has an IF frequency of 950 to 1700 MHz and has GaAs + GaN high-power amplifiers with internal overdrive protection. It has built-in HPA overdrive circuit protection, anti-vibration operation, and an ultra receive band reject filter. This BUC is made of tough aerospace-grade aluminum-based metal with efficient heat disposal properties. It requires a DC supply of 18-55 V and consumes less than 115 W of power. This BUC is available in a weatherproof and robust Hyper-Light package that measures 152 x 112 x 43.7 mm.
