The XKu-Band ELSAT series from AnaCom are XKu-band Block Up Converters that operate from 12.75 to 13.25 GHz. They have output power levels of up to 100 watts with a gain of 75 dB. These BUC's accept an input signal from 950 to 1450 MHz and up convert it to 12.75 to 13.25 GHz. The BUC consist of an upconverter, power amplifier and power supply all included in a single enclosure. An ovenized, high stability crystal oscillator is used to lock the TX synthesizer. The BUC is available with single and redundant configurations so that customers have the option for higher realibility.
