The XTSLIN-25X-B1 from Comtech Xicom Technology is an X-band Solid State BUC that up-converts an input frequency from 950-1450 MHz to an output frequency from 7.9-8.4 GHz. The device includes an SSPA which provides 25 W of linear output power and has a gain of 55 dB. It requires a DC supply of 22-56 V and draws a linear power of 140 W. The device supports an Ethernet interface with an SNMP monitoring facility and features an internal RF filter.
The BUC is available in a lightweight package to support tactical transportable and manpack terminals and measures 14.76 x 9.80 x 13.10 cm with a dedicated antenna mounting. Forced air cooling is implemented in this package to allow reliable operation over extended temperature ranges and is designed for low power consumption.
