The ERZ-BUC-2750-3100-43 from Erzia is a Block Upconverter (BUC) that operates in the Ka-Band from 27.5 to 31 GHz and has an IF frequency from 950 to 1950 MHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 20 W and 10 W of linear power with an adjustable gain from 45 to 75 dB in 0.25 dB steps. This BUC is based on the latest GaN technology with an internal PLL that optimizes power consumption. It has a phase noise of -110 dBc/Hz @ 1 MHz offset and provides an image rejection of more than 50 dB. The converter requires a supply voltage of 24 V and consumes less than 130 W of power.
The ERZ-BUC-2750-3100-43 is available in a compact aluminum enclosure that measures 170 x 115 x 23 mm with an SMA-female connector at the input and a WR-42 waveguide interface at the output. It is suitable for use in Ka-band SATCOM and airborne platforms.
