The QVBUC-472514-2005-ODU from Jersey Microwave is a Block-Up Converter that converts an input frequency from 1450 – 2450 MHz to an output frequency (RF) from 47.2 – 51.4 GHz. It has 4 independent inputs to allow 4 separate L-Band inputs to be up converted and then combined and amplified to cover 1 wideband output (custom bands are supported). This BUC provides an adjustable gain of more than 20 dB (0.1 dB step size) and an image rejection of better than -70 dBc. It utilizes JM’s high performance integrated Phase Locked oscillators and block converter modules to cover multiple Q/V bands. The BUC has an in-band spurious levels of better than -70 dBm and SSB phase noise of -115 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset.

The QVBUC-472514-2005-ODU includes various interface options such as RS-422, RS-485, and Ethernet to allow the user to monitor and control remotely. It requires an AC supply of 90-260 V and consumes less than 100 W of power. This device is available in a module with WR-19 waveguide interface for RF and N-type (female) connectors for IF.
