The RGUC-A Low Power from RevGo is a Block Up Converter (BUC) that converts input frequencies from 950 to 2000 MHz to output frequencies from 27.5 to 31 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 40 dBm (~10 W) with a small signal gain of 65 dB. This block-up converter consists of highly integrated RFIC and GaN technologies and is linearly optimized to support high-order modulation and high data rates. It has spurious levels of up to -55 dBc and a phase noise of less than -60 dBc/Hz (at 100 Hz offset).
The RGUC-A Low Power BUC has undergone strict quality control processes that result in field failure rates of less than 0.25%. It can be controlled using RS485, RS232, and Ethernet interfaces. This block up converter requires a DC supply from 18 to 56 V and consumes 55 W of power. It is available in an enclosure that measures 120 x 120 x 75 mm and has N-type connector at the input and WR-28-G grooved waveguide interface at the output side. This BUC is ideal for 5G backhaul, SNG vehicle, fixed/portable/transportable terminals, and maritime applications.
