The RGUC-A mPower from RevGo is a Ka-Band Satellite Block Upconverter (BUC) that upconverts an IF input frequency of 950 – 2000 MHz to an RF output frequency of 27.5 – 31 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 43 dBm (20 W) and a small signal gain of 70 dB with a phase noise of less than -93 dBc/Hz. This BUC has an IMD3 of -25 dBc and output spurious levels of -55 dBc. It requires a DC supply from +36 to +56 V and consumes less than 350 W of power.
The BUC includes an RJ45 Ethernet interface for management and control with real-time clock, event log, web interface, SNMP, and O-BMIP. It is available in an enclosure that measures 196 x 136 x 136 mm with a WR28-G (Grooved) output interface and N-Type (female) input connector. This BUC is ideal for maritime 5G backhaul, SNG vehicles, and terminals (fixed, portable, and transportable) applications.
