The RGUC-Aa160-ACREN-A0 from RevGo is a Block Up Converter (BUC) that converts input frequencies (IF) from 950-1950 MHz to output frequencies (RF) from 27.5-31 GHz. It supports multiple bandwidth options such as single-band, dual-band, tri-band, and quad-band. This BUC delivers a saturated output power of 160 W (~52 dBm) with a small signal gain of up to 75 dB. It has spurious levels of -60 dBc and a phase noise of -63 dBc/Hz (at 100 Hz offset).
This BUC is based on highly integrated RFIC and GaN technologies and is designed for high-volume production. It allows users to select the frequency bands using the provided software while ensuring full-band performance with narrow band affordability. This converter also consists of independently replaceable fans that do not cause service interruption. It includes RS-485/RS-232 interfaces for monitoring and control.
This block up converter requires an AC supply from 100 to 240 V and consumes 650 W of power. It is available in an enclosure that measures 350.0 x 220.0 x 180.5 inches and has N-type (female) connector at the input and WR28-G/WR34-G (optional) waveguide interface at the output side. This BUC is ideal for gateways, cellular backhaul, SNG vehicles, fixed/mobile/transportable terminals, and maritime applications.
