The GaN-DBS-SSPA-BUC-200W from TTI is a GaN SSPA/BUC that converts an input frequency of 950 MHz to 2050 MHz (IF) to an output frequency of 17.3 to 18.4 GHz (RF). It delivers a saturated output power of 53 dBm (~200 W) & a linear output power of 52 dBm (~158 W)with a gain of over 65 dB. This SSPA/BUC has a gain flatness of less than 4 dB p-p over the full band and a gain variation of ± 1.5 dB over the full operating range. It has an attenuation adjustment range of 20 dB in 0.25 dB steps and a VSWR of less than 1.5:1 (input) & 1.3 (output). This SSPA/BUC has a phase noise of less than -95 dBc and has an external reference frequency of less than 10 kHz with a reference phase noise of less than -160 dBc/Hz. It has a built-in output isolator for protection against reflected power and a built-in upconverter plus a highly stable internal reference. This SSPA/BUC has a spectral regrowth of -25 dBc and a spurious of less than -60 dBc. It can be controlled remotely via RS-485/USB or Ethernet interfaces.
This SSPA/BUC is available in a compact benchtop package that measures 400 x 274 x 220 mm and has an N-type (f) connector for BUC and an SMA (f) connector for SSPA RF inputs along with a WR62 grooved waveguide interface for RF output.
The GaN-DBS-SSPA-BUC-200W requires an AC supply of 90-264 V and consumes less than 850 W of power.
