The KGU Series from KYOCERA AVX are Multilayer Ceramic Chip Capacitors with capacitance values from 0.1 to 100 pF. These capacitors have a voltage rating from 16 to 250 V and have capacitance tolerances ranging from ±1% to ±20%. They exhibit zero voltage coefficient and the capacitors have base metal electrodes that are made of copper plated with a tin/nickel alloy, thereby delivering high capacitance-voltage in small sizes.
The KGU Series capacitors offer very low equivalent series resistance (ESR), high Q, high self-resonant frequency (SRF), and tight tolerances, all of which are beneficial for various communications applications. These RoHS-compliant capacitors are available in surface-mount package sizes from 01005 to 0805. They are specially designed for communication applications such as cellular base stations, broadband wireless services, SATCOM, subscriber-based wireless devices, WiFi (802.11) and public safety radio.
