The MS Series from AVX Corporation are Metal Oxide Semiconductor Capacitors with capacitance values from 1 to 1000 pF. These High Q capacitors operate over a frequency range of DC to 20 GHz. MOS Capacitors are Single Layer Capacitors (SLCs) that use silicon dioxide to produce small, high Q, temperature stable, high breakdown voltage, low leakage capacitors. To ease assembly, AVX offers a wide range of termination styles for epoxy or solder die to attach and subsequent Gold or Aluminum wire thermosonic and ultrasonic bonding. These capacitors are available in sizes ranging from 0.010 to 0.070 inches sq. and are ideal for use in hybrid circuits, bias networks, test and measurement equipment, aerospace, TOSA and ROSA applications.
