The FM150-NA from Fibocom is a 5G NR Sub-6GHz module for North America that supports both SA and NSA network architectures. The module also supports LTE and WCDMA networks. It enables faster transmission speed, better-carrying capacity, and lower network latency for tablets, gateways, industrial monitoring solutions, remote medical treatment, UAVs, virtual reality, and immersive experience (VR and AR) applications.
The module delivers an uplink data rate of up to 525 Mbps (NR ENDC), 450 Mbps (NR SA), 150 Mbps (LTE), 5.76 Mbps (WCDMA), and a downlink data rate of up to 4.1 Gbps (NR ENDC), 2.1 Gbps (NR SA), 2 Gbps (LTE), 42 Mbps (WCDMA). The module requires a DC supply of 3.135-4.4 V and can be controlled via GPIO, I2S, UIM, USB 3.1/3.0, and PCIe 3.0 interfaces.
The FM150-NA is based on an SDX55 chipset from Qualcomm and supports 5G SA/NSA network architecture in the North American region. It has integrated GNSS functionality that supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, and QZSS. The module is available in an M.2 package that measures 30 x 52 x 2.3 mm with 4 antenna interfaces.
