The LTE EG800Q-EU from Quectel is an LTE Cat 1 Module that is designed for M2M and IoT applications. It is based on 3GPP Rel-14 LTE technology and delivers a downlink data rate of up to 10 Mbps and an uplink data rate of 5 Mbps. This module is based on the Qualcomm QCX216 LTE IoT Modem for customers in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Israel markets with LTE FDD band coverage of B1/3/5/7/8/20/28. It supports Cat.1 bis for use with a single antenna to provide a compact and cost-effective solution for IoT terminals.
The LTE EG800Q-EU features a rich set of Internet protocols, industry-standard interfaces, and functionalities (USB serial drivers for Windows 7/ 8/ 8.1/ 10/ 11, Linux, and Android). It is available in an LGA package that measures 15.8 × 17.7 × 2.4 mm and is suitable for use in asset management, commercial telematics, smart payments, RMAC, security and automation, smart metering, and smart grid.
