The RG620T from Quectel is a Sub-6 GHz 5G Module that is optimized for IoT and eMBB applications. It is based on the 3GPP Rel-16 standard, supports both NSA and SA 5G modes, and provides multi-mode network coverage which is compatible with 4G networks (Cat 19). This module supports a data transmission speed of up to 7 Gbps (downlink, 5G-SA) and 2.5 Gbps (uplink, 5G-SA). It supports transmission Mode 9 (TM9) to increase spectral efficiency and improve performance. This module requires a DC supply of 3.8 V.
The RG620T has a quad-core 2.2 GHz CPU and integrated network and VPN accelerators, which extends the applicability of the module to a wide range of eMBB and IoT applications. It integrates a multi-constellation GNSS receiver that supports GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and Galileo. It helps to simplify the product design and can achieve high-precision, fast, and dependable positioning. This module is available in an LGA form factor that measures 44.0 x 53.0 x 3.0 cm and is suitable for industrial-grade industrial and commercial applications in 5G routers, CPE, MiFi, industrial routers, and home gateways.
