The 5G RM530N-GL from Quectel is a 5G Module that is optimized for IoT and eMBB applications. It is based on 3GPP Release 16 and supports both NSA & SA modes. This module uses integrated Qualcomm IZatT location technology Gen9C Lite (GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, and QZSS) GNSS receiver that greatly simplifies the product design, and also provides quicker, more accurate, and more dependable positioning capability. This module supports 4x4 MIMO for downlink in Sub-6 GHz and 2x2 MIMO for Sub-6 GHz uplink and mmWave uplink/downlink. It requires a DC supply of 3.7 V.
The 5G RM530N-GL delivers a downlink data rate of up to 4 Gbps and an uplink data rate of up to 1.4 Gbps. This 5G module is available in an M.2 form-factor module that measures 30.0 x 52.0 x 2.3 mm and can be controlled via (U)SIM, USB 2.0/3.0/3.1, and PCIe 3.0 interfaces. It is ideal for industrial routers, home gateways, CPE, industrial and consumer laptops, industrial PDAs, rugged tablet PCs, CCTV, and digital signage applications.
