The SC200E Series from Quectel are Smart LTE Cat 4 Modules with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. They support worldwide LTE Cat 4 (FDD & TDD), UMTS/HSPA+, GSM/GPRS/EDGE, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WLAN and Bluetooth 5.0 (BR/EDR+BLE) bands. These modules are based on ARM Cortex-A53 64-bit (quad-core) processor and have a Qualcomm Adreno 702 GPU that can perform enhanced mobile rendering for image & video applications and is compatible with Android OS. They have an integrated multi-constellation GNSS receiver that supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, SBAS, and NavIC (optional) and provides fast and accurate fixes in any environment. The modules are ideal for both industrial and consumer applications requiring a high data rate, multimedia functions, and long lifetime support.
The SC200E Series modules support 3GPP Release 10 features and 2x2 MIMO for downlink. They provide an uplink data rate of up to 50 Mbps and a downlink data rate of up to 150 Mbps. These modules support 2/3 cameras of up to 25 MP or 13 MP + 13 MP with dual ISP & 2 groups of 4-lane MIPI CSI interfaces (up to 2.5 Gbps/lane) and 1080P 8-bit H.264/H.265(HEVC) video encoding/decoding up to 30 fps. They require a DC supply of 3.8 V and can be controlled via USB, (U)SIM, UART, ADC, I2C SPI, and GPIO interfaces.
The SC200E Series modules are available in an LCC + LGA package that measures 40.5 x 40.5 x 2.85 mm with 4x antenna interfaces. They are ideal for a wide range of M2M applications, including edge devices, edge computing, smart POS, smart cash registers, smart home gateways, smart robots, smart wearables, security surveillance, PDA & tablets, vending machines, delivery lockers, video streaming, and entertainment systems, etc.
