The SE150A4 Series from Telit are Android™ Smart Modules that support LTE Cat 4, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and Bluetooth Low Energy 4.1. They deliver an uplink data rate of up to 50 Mbps (FDD)/30 Mbps (TDD) and a downlink data rate of up to 150 Mbps (FDD)/130 Mbps (TDD). These modules are powered by a Qualcomm® quad-core ARM® Cortex®-A53 64-bit processor with built-in Adreno™ 308 GPU for exceptional application & system performance and enhanced mobile rendering APIs for image and video applications. They have a multi-mode 4G/3G/2G cellular radio for wide-area network coverage and an onboard GNSS positioning receiver that supports GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, and Galileo constellations. These modules are available in two variants - SE150A4-NA for North America (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile U.S.) and SE150A4-EU for the EU and other regions.
The SE150A4 Series modules are based on Android™ OS and include interfaces to easily connect to displays, cameras, and various sensors and come with high-performance application processing and graphical processing power. These modules support up to 13 MP cameras and recording/playback of 1080p video at 30 FPS. They provide a Tx power of up to 23 dBm (LTE) and support Rx diversity & 2x2 MIMO DL. The modules require a DC supply of 3.8 V.
The SE150A4 Series modules are available in compact LCC+LGA packages that measure 40.5 x 40.5 mm and can be controlled via USB 2.0, UART, SPI, I2C, LCM, SDIO 3.0, and GPIO interfaces. They are ideal for use in IoT applications such as mobile point-of-sale (mPOS), smart cash registers & vending machines, smart alarm panels, security surveillance cameras and home automation, security systems, smart home gateways, smart robots, industrial personal digital assistants (PDA), handled PCs and tablets, police and law enforcement equipment, telematics cameras, digital video recorders (DVR) and in-car video streaming and entertainment systems positioning receivers.
