The DroneSentry-X Mk2 from DroneShield is a CUAS (Counter-Unmanned Aerial System) that is capable of detection and disruption of UAS (e.g. drones) operating at consumer and commercial ISM frequencies. It uses FPGA & software-defined radio technology with full hemispheric detection capability and directional (cardinal) bearing target identification. This system enables operators to view real-time analytics of local detection activity with map overlay while supporting user-defined options for either automatic or manual disruption. It uses DroneShield’s proprietary AI/ML-driven detection engine to ensure its effectiveness and to evolve in a rapidly changing threat environment constantly.
The DroneSentry-X Mk2 is compatible with DroneShield’s DroneLocator technology that provides mission-critical information such as drone and controller coordinates, altitude and velocity in real-time. It uses defeat technologies that offer non-kinetic disruption for controlled management of response to threats. This C-UAS detection system is designed to meet military durability standards, with resistance to shock & vibration for deployment in harsh environments. It can be mounted to standard vehicle roof racks, on military vehicles, surface vessels, and unmanned mobile platforms. This system can also be permanently installed at a fixed site on standard tripod masts or towers.
The DroneSentry-X Mk2 can be controlled via a provided tablet that supports quick access and enhanced visualization of C-UAS capabilities. It is available in an IP67-rated single ruggedized unit that measures 710 x 710 x 532 mm and is ideal for use in site and perimeter defense, VIP events, and crowd & border protection applications.
