The U6000 from BERTEN is a Compact Long-Range Data Link that operates from 70 MHz to 6 GHz. This data link supports FDMA and TDMA multiplexing that allow point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and mesh networks (MANET) with configurable time slots, regenerative data relay, and dynamic routing capabilities. It also supports the proprietary COFDM waveform and has two full-duplex channels with data rates from 700 Kbps to 78 Mbps. This dual transceiver miniaturized data link has been designed to provide reliable wideband communications, under high dynamics, for UAVs, Drones, and other critical platforms.
The datalink requires a DC supply from 12 to 30 V and consumes under 0.5 A of current (@28 V). It enables on-the-move communications for any tactical system, commercial application, airborne platform, or ground vehicle.
The U6000 has RJ-45 Ethernet, RS232, RS422/485, UART, and SBUS interfaces and allows local/remote configuration and status monitoring via Ethernet. It is available in an IP67-rated waterproof enclosure that measures 165 x 110 x 37 mm with SMA connectors and is designed to provide reliable wideband communications, under high dynamics, for UAV, Drones, and other critical platforms. The data link is suitable for use in ISR data links, telemetry & video streaming, commanding and control (C2), radio control range extender, and wireless mesh network applications
